Japan Family Portraiture in Spring

I’ve always loved springtime in Japan, and I am honored to shoot family portraits for a Japanese photographer and her beautiful pair of 3-year-old twins. This set of photos was taken two springs ago, but I keep missing out on posting them. Japanese kids are taught to be independent – and even at such a young age, they can peel their oranges and know to share them with each other.

Love Makes A Family – The Pith Family

I enjoy shooting family portraits and always preferred a more candid approach in documenting their day-to-day life. I have known the Pith family for a long time as Grette is a good friend of mine from secondary school, and I shot her wedding with Mark in Spain; and pre-wedding in Amsterdam and Singapore. Time flies and this is the second time I am doing a family photo session with them. It’s such a blessing to watch the beautiful family grow from behind my lenses. Enjoy the photos. : )
