ISPWP Fall 2017 Contest Result

2017 is a busy but fruitful year for me shooting many awesome couples and traveling to many beautiful countries to create images. One part I definitely neglected this year is participating in a photography contest. This ISPWP Fall contest is probably the last one of the year that I remember the submission date and made the submission on time. The result of the contest was announced a couple of days ago and I am glad that I won 2 awards in 2 different categories; early Christmas gifts to me indeed.

Thank you to all of you who have always shown supports and faith in my style of photography.

Lost in Iceland – Darren and May

I am fortunate to have set foot on many beautiful countries and cities in the world for photo shoots but Iceland is a place that totally blew me away!

If mother nature is an artist and a great painter, Iceland would be the grand gallery she exhibits her masterpieces. Though the forever changing weather made the photo shoot a challenge, the photo shoot went well and we were also blessed with few nights of witnessing the northern lights.  Thank you Darren and May, for braving the sub-zero temperature for the photo shoot and it was a pleasure to shoot for you both at one of the most beautiful countries I have created my work. Special thanks to make-up artist Jenny Goh and videographer Taylor and Christel for making the trip a very enjoyable and fun road trip. In short, all of you Rocks!

Anny and Brett – Wedding at Flutes Singapore

This post could get you drunk on alcohol or high with laughter!

When I first met Brett in my office, I was like wow, this guy looks like Hulk Hogon, but after talking to him for a few mins, he is a very cool and gentle guy. Anny and Brett’s wedding was held at one of my favorite wedding location in Singapore, Flutes at the National Musuem. The wedding was a simple yet cosy celebration and the whole night was nothing short of laughter and lots of drinking! Enjoy!

In the classy mood – Paris

Paris is always a good idea!

I am blessed to have traveled to Paris for photo shoot almost every year since almost 10 years ago. Though compare to other parts of Europe, Paris is slightly more touristy but it have a special flavour in itself that you can’t find in other cities; not just the romance but the artsiness in the small lanes and sidewalks along the Seine River where you know Henri Cartier Bresson might have made a photo here and Pablo Picasso might get inspiration from a cafe he have his morning coffee and croissant.

For me, the classy vibes of the city during different seasons are charming to make photos for my client.  Enjoy this set of pre-wedding photos of Chi Siang and Joanne, awesome couple whom I had a great trip with them enjoying not just the shoot but great food and dining in the city of love. Thank you for having me. : )

ISPWP Fall 2016 Contest Result

It’s December! The year zoomed by in a nick of time. It’s the time of the year where we all look back and see what we have done or not done. While it’s the peak time of the year for wedding, I am also taking some little time off to reflect back on the year. While doing so, one good news came in and the latest ISPWP Fall 2016 contest result was announced and I am happy to receive an early Christmas present with 2 awards under the Pure Art Category.

Thank you everyone who have continously show support in my style of work and to client who have put faith and trust in having me making photo memories for you.

Kazu and Ivy – Wedding at the Fullerton

I love shooting mix culture wedding and this wedding of Kazu and Ivy takes place at one of my favorite hotel, The Fullerton Singapore. Kazu is from Japan and Ivy is from Singapore, the wedding is filled with lots of laughter and blessing from the guests and one of the highlights of the wedding is when the couple marching in wearing the traditional Japanese kimonos. Ivy wore a kimono given to her by Kazu’s late mother. Awesome family love!

David and Eunice – A Chijmes Wedding

I really enjoyed shooting this wedding as everything just beautifully fall in place; Unscripted. The part that this awesome couple just relax and enjoy every single bit of the day is a huge blessing to me as a wedding photographer. All I need to do is quietly get into position, wait and witness a celebration unfolding itself. All wedding should be this way: fun loving, happy, real, no staging and let the awesome feeling of love shine in the happy laughter. Congratulations David and Eunice
