Lost in Iceland – Darren and May

I am fortunate to have set foot on many beautiful countries and cities in the world for photo shoots but Iceland is a place that totally blew me away!

If mother nature is an artist and a great painter, Iceland would be the grand gallery she exhibits her masterpieces. Though the forever changing weather made the photo shoot a challenge, the photo shoot went well and we were also blessed with few nights of witnessing the northern lights.  Thank you Darren and May, for braving the sub-zero temperature for the photo shoot and it was a pleasure to shoot for you both at one of the most beautiful countries I have created my work. Special thanks to make-up artist Jenny Goh and videographer Taylor and Christel for making the trip a very enjoyable and fun road trip. In short, all of you Rocks!

In the classy mood – Paris

Paris is always a good idea!

I am blessed to have traveled to Paris for photo shoot almost every year since almost 10 years ago. Though compare to other parts of Europe, Paris is slightly more touristy but it have a special flavour in itself that you can’t find in other cities; not just the romance but the artsiness in the small lanes and sidewalks along the Seine River where you know Henri Cartier Bresson might have made a photo here and Pablo Picasso might get inspiration from a cafe he have his morning coffee and croissant.

For me, the classy vibes of the city during different seasons are charming to make photos for my client.  Enjoy this set of pre-wedding photos of Chi Siang and Joanne, awesome couple whom I had a great trip with them enjoying not just the shoot but great food and dining in the city of love. Thank you for having me. : )

ISPWP Fall 2016 Contest Result

It’s December! The year zoomed by in a nick of time. It’s the time of the year where we all look back and see what we have done or not done. While it’s the peak time of the year for wedding, I am also taking some little time off to reflect back on the year. While doing so, one good news came in and the latest ISPWP Fall 2016 contest result was announced and I am happy to receive an early Christmas present with 2 awards under the Pure Art Category.

Thank you everyone who have continously show support in my style of work and to client who have put faith and trust in having me making photo memories for you.

In the Romance of France

” Paris is always a good idea” – Audrey Hepburn

Paris is one of the very popular pre-wedding destination and I am blessed to have shoot there at least once every year for the past 6 years. Everytime I when I am there, I will imaging my favorite street master photographer Henri Cartier Bresson and Elliot Erwitt walking through the charming Parisan streets or walking along the Seine river creating their black and white master pieces.

This pre-wedding photography shoot for Guan Hong and Wei Teng brought me back to the romantic French capitol and we had a nice photo session travelling towards east of France in Saint Michel. Enjoy the photos. : )

Kai Ching and Shuji in Toyama, Japan

I always love Japan for their food, culture and really nice people, this shoot brought me to Toyama, a city 400km east of Japan from Tokyo. Kaiching is a Singaporean teacher who taught English in Toyama and in the school he met Shuji, a volleyball teacher. Romance blossom and it’s a great pleasure for me to shoot their pre-wedding in the Japanese traditional wedding kimono in Shuji’s hometown; the charming landscape of Toyama prefecture.

ISPWP Summer 2015 Contest Result

Back from Paris from a pre-wedding shoot and something nice come through the email. The latest ISPWP contest result is out and I have won one award under the Pure Art category.
Thank you everyone for your kind support. I will continue to work on my style of photography. : )

Portrait Session in Germany / Lena and Christian

The day before the German wedding, we have arranged a shooting session for Lena and Christian in their German traditional costume. The session helped them warm up and getting used to me with my kick-ass Nikon cameras. Despite the language barrier as both can’t speak much English and I can’t speak German, I manage to compile a very candid session with their way of showing love and affection.  Amazing couple, awesome landscape and beautiful countryside. Enjoy the images.
